Nordre Land Municipality has a 100% operating grant available for a private-practice physical therapist. The operating grant is tied to the Fysio4 group practice in downtown Dokka.

As the recipient of the operating grant, you will provide health-promoting and rehabilitative physical therapy services to the municipality’s residents, in collaboration with other physical therapists in the municipality.  The physical therapists offer services at the lower levels of the Intervention Ladder as part of a forward-looking health service.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide health-promoting and rehabilitative physical therapy services to the municipality’s residents
  • Operate an independent practice in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, ASA 4313, and municipal guidelines
  • Participate in professional meetings and development initiatives
  • Contribute to effective collaboration with other physical therapists, the municipal health service, and primary care physicians
  • Help ensure comprehensive and accessible physical therapy services in the municipality

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Norwegian license as a physical therapist. Please include your HPR number in the application.
  • Further training as a manual therapist is desirable.
  • Experience from private practice and/or municipal physical therapy services is preferred.

About the group practice:

The operating agreement is for an established 100% practice license affiliated with Fysio4, a well-established clinic with broad expertise and strong interdisciplinary collaboration. There are 4 practice licenses associated with the group practice.

The following applies to the contract:

Allocation is based on the regulations regarding quality in municipal physical therapy services and ASA 4313. Criteria such as professional competence, experience, personal suitability, and the municipality’s needs are emphasized.

Private-practice physical therapists receiving municipal operating subsidies are part of the municipality’s health and care services and are required to conduct their practice in close collaboration with the municipality and other healthcare personnel regarding target groups, priorities, and treatment offerings. The practice must be operated in accordance with the Health and Care Services Act, the regulations on functional and quality requirements for physical therapists with a municipal operating agreement, and the contractual basis is governed by ASA 4313 as amended from time to time. 

  • Diplomas and certificates should not be mailed but brought with you to any interview
  • An approved police clearance certificate in accordance with Section 5-4 of the Health and Care Services Act must be presented before starting employment.
