We are looking for an analyst who wants to use their expertise to make a difference in a company with a strong commitment to social responsibility, a large customer base, and a robust analytical environment.
With access to a comprehensive database of over 2 million customers, the analytics unit plays a central role in transforming data into valuable insights for the entire organization. You’ll be part of a central analytics unit that works closely with various teams across the company. Several of our analysts also spend part of their time working in cross-functional product teams.
To succeed, you must build strong relationships across the organization and communicate data and insights in a way that can be translated into action and results.
Responsibilities and Tasks
In this role, you will, among other things:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into relevant analytical questions.
- Analyze customer data and other data sources to develop insights that create value, drive improvement, facilitate learning, and provide a basis for action
- Develop predictive or prescriptive models, assist with production deployment and monitoring.
- Communicate findings in a clear and understandable manner
- Develop and apply domain expertise within selected academic, business, and product areas.
- Actively contribute to interdisciplinary teams that work together to solve business challenges.
- Help further develop the field of data analysis/science at Norsk Tipping.
Qualifications
We expect you to have several of the following qualifications:
- Relevant higher education in analytical disciplines with a strong background in methodology.
- Ability to translate data into insights that form the basis for sound decisions.
- Expertise in quantitative methods, data analysis, and data visualization.
- Experience with hypothesis testing, experimentation (e.g., A/B testing), and measuring effectiveness.
- Expertise in tools and programming languages for data extraction, analysis, and statistical modeling, such as SQL, SPSS Statistics, Python, and Git.
- Experience with machine learning and the development of predictive/prescriptive models, including model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Experience using artificial intelligence in the field of analytics is a plus.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in interdisciplinary environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a desire to create clear and engaging insights.
