At Norsk Tipping, you will play a key role in developing internal control and risk management at a strategic level. You will be part of a strong professional environment that combines technology, accountability and societal benefit.
The position is newly created and reports to the Director of Finance and Corporate Governance. As part of the company's three lines of defense model, the role is placed in the 2nd line together with compliance, risk management and security, as part of Norsk Tipping's model for holistic management and control.
You will help balance technology development with accountability and risk management. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in these areas and influence managers and professional communities across the entire organization in Norsk Tipping.
In the role, you will have a broad area of responsibility and many exciting tasks. Among your most important tasks are:
- Establish and manage framework, guidelines and requirements for internal control and risk management.
- Define KRI/KCI, deviation process and reporting requirements.
- Design consolidated overviews and management dashboards for risk and internal control.
- Conduct independent reviews of risk assessments and control design.
- Risk-based 2nd line monitoring and spot checks to verify compliance.
- Facilitate and quality assure deviation handling and root cause analysis for significant incidents.
- Coordinate interaction with internal audit and external auditors, and ensure follow-up of findings.
- Coordinate methodology and priorities across internal control, compliance, risk management and security.
- Manage GRC methodology and tools, including data quality in risk and control overviews.
- Contribute as an advisor in change and development projects ("controls by design") and targeted training for process owners and managers.
Internal control will be close to both the core processes on the technical and financial side, and the role can therefore suit candidates with different professional inputs. We are looking for you who have;
- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, law, auditing or technology. Relevant certifications are an advantage (e.g. CIA/CRMA, CISA/CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor).
- Several years of experience in internal control, risk management or compliance; experience from 2nd line in regulated business is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of relevant regulations such as money laundering regulations and GDPR. You are expected to quickly establish in-depth knowledge of gambling legislation / gambling regulations.
- Knowledge of key frameworks. For example, COSO (IC/ERM), ISO 31000, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27005 and ITIL.
- Experience with GRC methodology and tools (policy, risk and control library, deviations/measures, reporting).
- Documented ability to independently review risk assessments, controls and measures - as well as quality assurance and escalation when needed.
- Experience in integrating risk management and internal control into business management and core processes.
- Experience with data-driven analysis and control testing, preferably using automation/visualization to identify risks and areas for improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, incl. concise management/board reports (KRI/KCI, maturity and trends).
