Norsk Tipping is looking for a technologist who is passionate about observability and monitoring. You will be part of a dedicated professional environment that ensures that we have insight into the entire technology stack - from gaming platforms and payment solutions, to infrastructure in the cloud and local data centers.

What does the job involve?

Team O11y is responsible for the observability platform in Norsk Tipping. We collect, analyze and present data from the entire technology stack - enabling the business to detect and solve problems quickly, and make better decisions.

In this role you will, among other things:

• Operate and further develop the observability platform (Splunk) and associated tools
• Collect and normalize data from platforms such as OpenShift, AWS, Azure and on-premises data centers using OpenTelemetry
• Build dashboards, alerts and insights that provide real value to both technical and non-technical users
• Automate with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and scripting
• Guide and support development teams, operations center and other users in good observability practices
• Collaborate closely with operations center on incidents and troubleshooting of business-critical processes

Who are you?

We're looking for someone who combines technical acumen with good collaboration skills, and who is able to work in a structured, service-oriented and proactive manner in a constantly evolving environment. You have experience with:

• Monitoring and observability tools - logs, metrics and/or tracing
• Operation of IT infrastructure and platforms
• Automation, CI/CD and cloud-based infrastructure

Knowledge of Splunk or OpenTelemetry is an advantage. As a person, you are analytical, committed and willing to learn, and you thrive on sharing knowledge and contributing to a common direction. Norwegian is our working language, and it is therefore important that you can communicate well in Norwegian, both orally and in writing.
