In the Lottery product area, we work with some of Norway's best-known brands: Lotto, Vikinglotto, Eurojackpot, Joker, Nabolaget, Keno and Extra.
Lottery has almost 2.2 million customers and is the largest category in the company. Our most important meeting with the customer takes place in the app and online, which supports our digital development where more and more customer meetings take place digitally.
Our challenge is not just about making it easy to buy a game. We need to create experiences that combine security, accessibility and user-friendliness with something that is more difficult to describe - namely the feeling of hope, excitement and the dream of the big win.
This is where we need you.
Product area
The Lottery product area is one of the most important focus areas in Norsk Tipping. We work continuously to further develop existing games, develop new concepts and improve customer experiences across the entire lifecycle - from the first encounter with the product to the draw, the winning experience and further engagement.
At the same time, we face an important challenge: We need to ensure that the proportion of our customers who still use our commission agents are well supported in delivering their games in our digital spaces.
How do we create solutions that are perceived as safe and intuitive for people who are not necessarily digital in the first place?
How do we lower barriers without losing the magic that keeps customers coming back?
These are questions we work with every single day.
What you will work with
As a senior UX/interaction designer, you will have a central role in the product area and be involved in the entire value chain.
This isn't a role where you sit on the side and deliver design sketches. We're looking for someone who wants to influence direction, challenge the organization and take ownership of our success.
The team and the way we work
You'll be part of a product area with over 20 people and work closely with the product development manager, team leader, system architect, developers, testers, data and analysis. For the right person, it's only natural that you will be a key resource that sits close to the delivery management in the area.
We work agilely in interdisciplinary teams with a high degree of autonomy within the framework of our product development model.
Insight, data and AI
We believe in insight-based product development.
Therefore, analysis, experimentation and measurement are an important part of the role. We want to get even better at understanding the impact of what we do, and we're looking for someone who can help elevate methodology, analytics and decision-making.
We're also exploring how AI can be used in design and development work, including prototyping, testing, insight work and concept development. This is still an evolving area and we want people who are curious about how new technology can be used to create better solutions.
What we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced UX/interaction designer with relevant education or extensive experience in UX, interaction design or a similar field. You have experience from agile product development in interdisciplinary teams, work insight-based and are committed to holistic customer journeys, universal design and good digital experiences. You have the ability to translate insights into concrete solutions, are curious about new technology and how AI can be used in your field. But most importantly, someone who is able to challenge, influence and create progress!
When applying, we encourage you to describe what you've actually worked on and what role you've had. It's more important for us to understand your experience than to count the number of years on your CV.
You will be employed by Norsk Tipping, and will initially work in the Lottery product area. At the same time, we work in a product-oriented organization where expertise and needs develop over time. This means that you may eventually have opportunities to contribute to other parts of the Technology Department, depending on both your interests and the needs of the business.
Finally
If we succeed, we create digital experiences that allow more people to access some of Norway's most famous gaming products - while preserving the magic, security and trust that customers associate with Norsk Tipping.
If this sounds like a challenge you'd like to be part of, we'd love to have a coffee.
