We are now looking for a committed responsible gambling advisor (proactive conversations) who wants to be part of Norsk Tipping's important social mission - to prevent gambling problems.

In this role, you get a unique opportunity to work with an exciting and socially beneficial field - at the intersection of gambling, public health and customer follow-up. You will be part of an interdisciplinary environment that works purposefully to reduce the extent of problem gambling and gambling addiction in Norway.

Tasks

Proactive conversations are customer follow-up aimed at players with risky gambling behavior. The purpose is to get customers to reflect on their own gambling behavior, and to inform about possible measures Norsk Tipping can offer to limit gambling. The Proactive Conversations team consists of five people, where one position is now vacant.

Everyday life at Norsk Tipping is varied and flexible, and you will largely be able to prioritize your own work tasks. Some of the things you will do during a typical working week are:

• You will conduct daily proactive conversations with customers who show signs of risky gambling behavior.
• You work in teams that focus on helping customers who gamble too much and motivate change.
• Contribute to maintaining and further developing our accountability framework
• Furthermore, learning, experience sharing and improvement work are an important part of the job.
• Contact with interest organizations and professional expertise in the field of gambling

The position is part of a team with four other advisors, and we emphasize good collaboration skills.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have expertise in characteristics and factors that can be addictive. You also have an interest in an evolving field and can contribute to the follow-up of our customers. We want you to have the following qualifications:

• Relevant higher education (minimum bachelor's degree), for example in health and social sciences, pedagogy, psychology or communication and counseling
• Preferably further education or work experience in the field of addiction or gambling
• Preferably experience with motivational interviewing (MI) as a conversation tool
• Interest in and preferably experience with the use of insight and analysis of customer data
• Other relevant experience will also be considered
