What does the job entail?
You’ll be part of the team responsible for establishing, further developing, and managing the Azure platform at Norsk Tipping. Our goal is to provide development teams and business units with a secure, standardized, and efficient platform for developing and operating services in the cloud.
At our company, this means that you will:
- Be responsible for the further development of the Azure Landing Zone, including structure, governance, security controls, and standardized platform services.
- Help establish and maintain a “paved path” that makes it easy for teams to adopt Azure in a secure and controlled manner.
- Develop platform capabilities based on Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and platform automation principles.
- Collaborates closely with development teams, architects, and security teams to make the Azure platform easy to use and manage.
- Helps define standards, patterns, and self-service solutions that give teams a high degree of autonomy within established frameworks.
- Work with identity, access management, and security in Azure, including Entra ID and related platform services.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform through automation, observability, and modern DevOps principles.
Who are you?We’re looking for someone with experience building and further developing cloud platforms, and who is motivated by making it easy for other teams to succeed.
We believe you’ll thrive with us if you:
- Have hands-on experience establishing or further developing Azure Landing Zones in large enterprises.
- Have worked with governance, security, networking, and the organization of Azure environments at the platform level.
- Have solid experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
- Have experience developing standardized platform services and “paved road” concepts for development teams.
- Understand how development teams work and want to build platforms that provide them with high productivity and a great developer experience.
- Has experience with identity and access management in Azure and Entra ID.
- Has a strong understanding of security, compliance, and risk management in cloud platforms.
- Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
It is an advantage if you also have experience with:
- Azure Policy, Management Groups, and RBAC.
- Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel.
- CI/CD platforms and GitOps principles.
- Hybrid identity and integration between on-premises and Azure.
As a senior, you’ll be expected to take professional responsibility, share your expertise, and actively contribute to the further development of the platform environment.
