The ​​Director of Production Quality​ will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s products meet the required quality standards. They will be responsible for developing and implementing, maintaining and improving quality control processes and procedures, as well as ensuring that all employees are trained and deliver to the highest standards. The ​​Director of Production Quality​ will also be responsible for managing the product launch from a quality perspective and the planned expansion on site ensuring that all improved quality control activities are carried over in a timely and efficient manner.


You will be reporting directly to our Senior Director of Quality and leading a team of Senior Managers for Production Quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the definition of the quality strategy, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Contribute to the establishment of targets aligning with organizational goals, deliver the appropriate KPI as defined by the plant quality lead for the site
  • Define the quality operations strategy as to align with the whole plant quality strategy establish KPIs and objectives with production quality teams and ensure their deliverables
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team and processes resulting in a continued minimum 10% improvement YOY
  • Conducting quality assurance on all relevant company facilities, including plants and distribution centres
  • Lead quality related projects and ensure in time, in quality and within budget project execution, fulfilling stakeholders expectation
  • Ensuring that all production quality activities comply with regulatory requirements

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Inspecting an area of the plant to ensure that only necessary procedures are being used to produce high-quality products or services. This includes checking equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Ensuring that the production facility is operating at a high operational standard. They are responsible for taking precautions to prevent safety hazards from occurring during manufacturing processes or during the storage procedure for merchandise produced by the company.

  • Reviewing all reports and records provided by each department throughout the month and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Monitoring each department’s operations to ensure that all procedures are being adhered to and that only approved products or services are being delivered to the company’s clients.

  • Developing and maintaining production quality metrics to track the effectiveness of quality procedures.

  • Developing and implementing quality procedures to ensure that all products meet the required quality standards.

  • Ensuring that all production quality documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
