We at Northvolt are now looking for more skilled mechanics for our growing maintenance team. Do you want to join the journey in one of the first large-scale European battery factories? Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon dioxide-free society. You will work closely with process operators and other production staff. Your focus will be on performing mechanical maintenance in the factory.

The work as a mechanic with us includes, among other things, the following duties:

  • Work with process operators, technicians and other production personnel to understand and communicate improvements that need to be made and have been made.
  • Install, maintain and repair mechanical equipment.
  • Read technical documentation and update if necessary.
  • Perform general mechanical maintenance.
  • Inspect components for wear, vibration or improper lubrication, and so on.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical problems with appropriate tools.
  • Train others in maintenance specific tasks.
  • Evaluate the necessary spare parts for the equipment.
  • To be, together with the rest of the team, a key player in developing and maintaining a safe working environment.

The person we are looking for is goal-oriented, structured, curious and eager to learn. You will have the chance to influence our success story in Sweden (to begin with). The mechanic is a vital member of the maintenance team and key to Northvolt's mission to enable the energy of the future.
