Northvolt is now looking for more skilled instrument technicians for our maintenance team in Skellefteå. You will play an important role from the very beginning in building one of the first large-scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon dioxide-free society.

You will work closely with operators, technicians and other production staff where your focus will be on performing instrumental maintenance in the factory.

Responsibilities as an instrument technician include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Collaborate with operators, technicians and other production personnel to understand and communicate improvements that need to be made and have been made
• Install, maintain and repair various instruments
• Read technical diagrams and drawings
• Perform general instrument maintenance
• Troubleshoot instrument problems with appropriate test devices
• Repair and replace equipment
• Installation of calibration software
• Train others in maintenance specific tasks
• Carry out evaluation of necessary spare parts for the equipment
• To be, together with the rest of the team, a key player in developing and maintaining a safe working environment
