We are looking for an IT Engineer to join Northvolt's Materials Digital Solutions team, working closely with the Northvolt Ett Digitalization and Central IT team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology to enable the future of energy!

As an IT Engineer. you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and easy to use IT and digital solutions for operations for the Materials Business Unit at the Northvolt Ett site in Skellefteå.

This role is focused on (but not limited to) working with digital tools and hardware that impact production and the supporting functions. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering support to the operations teams and participate in IT and OT infrastructure related projects for the business unit’s factories.

Your profile and Key responsibilities:

Service Operations: You’ll be accountable for continuity and performance of IT and OT infrastructure on operations side. You will act as a link between operations and the Northvolt Ett Digitalization and Central IT teams, and assist in formulating needs, finding, and implementing suitable solutions (including map and describe processes and master data, create demand and specification documents, order and install hardware).

IT demand management: Support to the ETT Digitalization demand team by contributing with Materials domain knowledge in identifying needs related to the IT infrastructure, e.g. setting up new network and make sure that the company standard is properly applied.

Performance Enhancement: Continuously review and improve services from both a performance and operational efficiency perspective, updating documentation as needed. Implement preventative maintenance to sustain or enhance service delivery.

Supporting knowledge in the following areas are desired:
• ERP: Logistics and Warehouse Management, Maintenance and work order handling
• MES and SCADA: Order handling, Production reporting, Machine connectivity
