We are looking for dedicated and self-driven QC Engineers to join us in our mission to contribute to build the world’s greenest battery. The role is a part of our passionate Revolt 1.1 team based in Skellefteå.

About the job

In your role you will be developing, defining and implementing the inspection methods for evaluating the incoming materials, intermediate and final products. Furthermore, you will a part of developing quality standards, procedures and documentation associated with the manufacturing inspection techniques. This includes sample analysis, sample retention, standards management, raw material qualification, outsourced testing, material characterization, inventory management and document management.

You will have an important role in the development of our QC Laboratory and will get the opportunity to join a start-up team in one of the most exciting and fast-growing industries today. To succeed in the role, you should be flexible, driven, structured and can act decisively. You are pedagogical and have the ability to arouse commitment. You will be working in a cross-functional team and will be reporting to the QC Manager.

About the team

The QC team is a group of experts, having experience in receiving samples, measuring methods, samples preparation, and result reporting. Your team will play an important role in supporting the production team in measuring and improving our product quality. QC team will be developing, validating, defining, and implementing the inspection methods for all tested materials. Furthermore, the team will be responsible for Measurement System Analysis and work with the R&D group to evaluate and compare product quality (it includes participation in Root Cause Analysis).

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Develop and document methods measurements of incoming material, production intermediates and final products.
• Support proper testing on a range of instruments and report data/results
• Perform Measurement System Analyses
• Troubleshoot the problems related to analytical equipment as well as measuring methods
• Work across many parts of the organization, collaborating with R&D team, Process engineering, Supply Chain, IT & automation.

The person we are looking for is a team player, curious and eager to learn. A background within battery, materials testing, materials science and materials engineering is very good to have. Especially the ability to manage method development and experience with validation.
