About the different roles
Mechanic
As a mechanic with us, you’ll have a varied role where you’ll work on both preventive and emergency maintenance of our mechanical equipment. Your main responsibilities include ensuring operational reliability and contributing to a safe and efficient facility. You will troubleshoot, perform repairs, maintain static and rotating equipment, and work on improvement projects as well as quality and environmental enhancement initiatives.
Instrument Technician
In the role of Instrument Technician, you will work to maintain the refinery’s production availability through preventive maintenance and corrective repairs of control, regulation, and instrumentation equipment. Your daily work includes the installation, troubleshooting, and calibration of industrial instruments, as well as the maintenance of sensors, valves, and controllers within low-voltage and control system environments.
Electrician
As an electrician at Nynas, you will perform corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and process instruments at the refinery. You will assist production managers with specialized expertise in electrical systems and provide support during operational disruptions. The work involves electrical installation and maintenance in industrial low- and medium-voltage systems in accordance with the company’s guidelines and practices.
