About the position

You will enter an exciting time of change where Lindab has recently moved operations from Luleå to Piteå. This means a major investment where production is streamlined and developed - and you will have a central role in continuing to drive that development.

As Production Manager, you will have the opportunity to build a winning team that both thrives and performs in the new environment. With your leadership, you create commitment, motivation and a culture based on Lindab's values.

In the role, you lead a production planner and about 25-30 production employees. Together with your team, you ensure high quality products, cost efficiency and delivery reliability.

At the unit in Piteå, load-bearing roofing sheets and sandwich panels are manufactured for the construction industry, and you will be involved in developing both people and production in a growing organization.



Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Create a winning team that has the ability and desire to develop the business.
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of your team including daily management and continuous improvement.
  • Coach, lead and inspire employees to achieve set goals and KPIs.
  • Ensure that the investments made deliver the expected results.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development in the development of new products.
  • Responsible for the work environment in accordance with the current work environment delegation, where you work with zero vision for accidents and work injuries and work to reduce the external environmental impact of the business.





Your background

You have a secondary education basically, but meritorious with higher education in warehousing, logistics or production technology. You have many years of relevant work experience in production in a manufacturing industry. You are a proven and skilled leader with a strong track record of coaching and driving value-based leadership. In the role, you are also expected to have good computer skills where you have worked with one or more different business systems and other software as support and tools in your work.

Furthermore, you are confident with the Lean philosophy and have worked with methods such as Six Sigma, Kaizen or 5S. As we operate within an international group, in addition to Swedish, you also master English in speech and writing. We also see construction technical knowledge and experience from the construction industry as meritorious.
