As part of our continued growth in Northern Sweden, we are now looking for a contract salesperson.
About the positionBorga Plåt AB sells steel halls to several different industries such as trade, industry, logistics, equestrian sports and agriculture. As a salesperson at Borga Plåt AB, you are responsible for the entire sales process for the steel halls we sell and deliver, from first customer contact to signed agreement. You are expected to attract new customers and manage the relationship with Borga's existing customer base through proactive work, including networking and participation in trade fairs.
Examples of job duties
- Performing needs analysis to understand the customer's specific requirements and wishes
- Calculate and produce competitive quotes.
- Follow up and drive the sales process towards closure
- Ensuring that the customer's needs match Borgas' wide range of steel halls.
Once the contract is in place, there is a handover to our project managers, who take over and plan the construction. You play a key role in listening to the customer and proposing the best solution, while contributing your product knowledge and understanding of the market. The position is full-time and based in Umeå, Skellefteå or Luleå depending on where you live. Travel is part of the service, but you have the freedom to influence and plan the trips.
About youTo be comfortable in the role, you need to have a developed business sense, be responsive and outgoing, and have the ability to network and create good relationships. It is also important that you are driven to work towards set goals and work in a structured way to achieve results while maintaining high quality. Our customers see our salespeople as construction technical advisors and are happy to request our specialist expertise. You should therefore have solid technical knowledge and understanding of all phases of the construction process to be able to assist our customers.
We look for you to have experience in sales and in a similar job in the construction industry. There you have gained experience in construction design, sales of turnkey contracts and sales / calculation / procurement / building permits / contacts with subcontractors etc.
In previous positions, you have therefore acted as an advisor to the customer and are used to honestly guiding the customer to the right decision and that you are transparent with expectations of the customer throughout the sales process. It is also obvious for you to do what you can to create the right building at the right price for the customer while making the business profitable for Borga.
You may have had a role as a technical salesperson, project manager in construction, construction manager, site manager, installation coordinator or similar. You also need to have skills in construction law, the building permit procedure, BAS U, BAS P and building regulations such as PBL, BBR, EKS. Work also includes being able to communicate fluently in English both orally and in writing.
We prefer that you live in Umeå, Skellefteå or Luleå, but we also welcome applications from other locations along the Norrland coast.
