Workplace:

The Municipal Department of Health and Well-Being offers services that promote well-being, independence, a sense of belonging, and participation, and is organized into five service areas. Our work is rooted in the community section of the municipal plan.

Service Area: Adapted Services:

Adapted Services provide assistance to children, youth, and adults with disabilities. The services are organized into five units and include both round-the-clock care and occasional in-home services. Targeted environmental support is central, and great emphasis is placed on coping, self-determination, and quality of life. The service area has a strong professional team and actively promotes ethical reflection, user involvement, and individualized support. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to help create meaningful daily lives for people with diverse needs.

This position is currently part of Department 2. Department 2 provides services to 22 service recipients. Services are provided in shared living arrangements and single-family homes. The service offerings vary according to the service recipient’s needs, ranging from 1:1 staffing to shorter assignments. Services are provided to people across a wide age range who have disabilities. We have skilled and experienced staff for whom targeted community-based care is a central part of the services provided in connection with the user’s housing and/or activity programs, and to enable each individual user to manage their daily life.
