Place of work:

The municipal area Health and Coping offers services that promote coping, independence, belonging and participation, and is organized into five service areas. Our work is anchored in the municipal plan's community section.

The service area Facilitated services:

Adapted services provide assistance to children, young people and adults with functional variations. The services are organized in five companies and include both 24-hour measures and occasional services in the home.

Targeted environmental work is central, and great emphasis is placed on coping, self-determination and quality of life. The service area has a strong professional environment and works actively with ethical reflection, user participation and individual adaptation. Here you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful everyday lives for people with different needs.

The positions belong to the adapted services department 4, and provide services to adults in need of assistance.

About the positions:

We are looking for awake night watchman in a 70% temporary position for 1 year, with the possibility of permanent employment.

You will receive support, training and guidance so that you can feel confident in the tasks you will perform. As an employee with us, you work according to current routine descriptions and procedures in our quality system, and strive for a high level of professionalism.

Tasks:

  • Follow up service provision according to decisions.
  • Targeted environmental work.
  • Collaboration with relatives and guardians.
  • Follow the user's professional binder.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Be fluent in written and spoken Norwegian and have good presentation skills.
  • Approved police certificate.
  • Driver's license class B.

Desirable requirements:

  • Relevant health education/skilled worker.
  • Experience in targeted environmental work and work with people with disabilities.

As an employee of Østre Toten municipality, you will be covered by a good pension and insurance scheme. We have meaningful work tasks and an inclusive working environment. Employees are employed by Østre Toten Municipality on the terms and conditions set out in applicable laws, regulations and the General Collective Agreement. 2% of gross salary is deducted for pension
