The home care service in Østre Toten municipality is located at the new Labo nursing home. The home care service is organized in three departments, as well as its own night service. Through "New Welfare 2040", the home care service focuses on public health and preventive efforts. We want to help create a community municipality, where residents experience an inclusive local community and are given the opportunity to take care of their own health and master their own lives. Cooperation with relatives and volunteers is central, we are constantly using new welfare technology aids.

We are looking for temporary workers for our home service, tasks consist of providing health care and practical assistance to service recipients in Østre Toten municipality.

As an employee with us, you will be part of a large professional network with nurses, health professionals and assistants with broad and good expertise. You will receive support and guidance so that you can feel confident in the tasks you will perform as a representative of Østre Toten municipality.

Current tasks in our service:

• Provide health care and assistance in the users' own homes, according to current measures, professional competence and ethical guidelines.
• Distribution of medication to users, according to the approved medicine exam for health professionals/assistants.
• Documentation in patient records.
• Practical help in the home, such as cleaning and shopping.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Professional worker, nurse/nurse, students in health professions, unskilled with relevant experience.
• Driver's license class B and have the opportunity to have their own car.
• Approved Police Certificate.

Desirable requirements:

• Experience from home services etc. but not a requirement, training will be provided.
