Place of work:

Totenviken School is organized in the service area primary school and is one of 7 primary schools in Østre Toten municipality.
The school is located in a rural area south of Skreia surrounded by Lake Mjøsa and Totenåsen. At Totenviken School there is a high degree of well-being, both among staff and students. We put the student at the center and are committed to creating a safe and good learning environment for all our students. The foundation is good cooperation, internally and externally, with a particular focus on cooperation with the homes.

In Østre Toten municipality, we focus on preventive work and early and comprehensive efforts for children, young people and families. The municipality works according to the BTI model (Better Interdisciplinary Intervention) as a basis for providing the right help at the right time.

Facts about the position:

We have a vacant 80% permanent position as a children's and youth worker / assistant in school and sfo.

The position follows school holidays and has an 11% payroll deduction.

Tasks:

  • Contribute to creating a safe and good school environment for everyone
  • Facilitate and follow up individual students and groups of students in and outside the classroom.
  • Facilitation in both theoretical and practical subjects
  • Collaboration with teachers and other staff

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Professional certificate as a child and youth worker. Relevant experience from similar work may be considered to compensate for the educational requirement.

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience with outdoor activities and a love of being outdoors.

  • Love children and young people and want them to have a safe and good learning environment with a secure and clear framework.
  • Good collaboration skills, but must also be able to work independently.
