The municipal area of growth and welfare consists of the service areas kindergarten, primary and lower secondary school, learning center, educational psychological service, NAV, health center and school health service, and child welfare service. In Østre Toten municipality, we focus on preventive work and early and comprehensive efforts for children, young people and families. The municipality works according to the BTI model (Better Interdisciplinary Intervention) as a basis for providing the right help at the right time. We coordinate and prioritize offers and services in a holistic way, through the use of the tool "holistic intervention staircase". The municipal area for upbringing and welfare is important in this work.

Facts about the position:

We need more educational leaders in our municipal kindergartens. We have the following vacancies:

• 100 % permanent position in Kolbu kindergarten - from August 1
• 60 % permanent position in Kapp kindergarten - from August 1
• 10 % permanent position in Nordli kindergarten - from August 1
• 50 % permanent position in Hoffsvangen kindergarten - from November 16

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Approved 3-year college education as a kindergarten teacher or other 3-year educational education at college level with further education in kindergarten education.

A satisfactory police certificate must be presented before starting. This must not be older than 3 months.

Desirable requirements:

• Experience from kindergarten is desirable.

Qualified people are encouraged to apply regardless of age, gender, disability or cultural background.

Personal qualities:

• You must be an active adult who sees each individual child, who listens and cares about what the children want to convey.
• You have good guidance skills.
• You have good collaboration skills.
