Vilberg Daycare Center is part of the daycare service area. 
The kindergarten is beautifully situated in Lensbygda with a view of Toten and many wonderful hiking opportunities.

The kindergarten has two departments: one for children ages 1–2 and one for children ages 2–6. Our staff possess diverse and strong early childhood education expertise. We prioritize the best interests of the children and strive to create a safe and nurturing learning environment where varied play opportunities foster a sense of community and a sense of accomplishment. We are committed to being engaged and present staff members in the children’s upbringing environment. We work on professional development through REKOMP and collaboration with the learning environment team, and we prioritize a safe and positive work environment for our staff. The preschool is located at Vilberg School, with access to a gym and a large outdoor area that invites a variety of activities throughout all seasons.

Job details:

We have a 100% temporary position available as educational director at Vilberg Preschool.
The position is available starting October 1, 2026, but an earlier start date may be possible. The temporary position is initially scheduled to last until June 22, 2027.

Job Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Education as a preschool teacher.
  • Individuals whose first language is not Norwegian must have passed a Norwegian language test. In addition, you must have achieved Level A2 on the written expression subtest and Level B1 on the reading comprehension, listening comprehension, and oral communication subtests.
  • A valid police clearance certificate, issued no more than 3 months ago, must be presented before starting the position.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience as an educational leader is an asset.
