The municipal area for health and coping has a central role in this work. We offer services that promote coping, independence, belonging and participation, and are organized into five service areas. Our work is anchored in the municipal plan's community section.

Our core values are: "We are proud to work in Østre Toten municipality, where we meet challenges with courage and optimism." "We dare to challenge ourselves and each other, think new and care." The service area home services:

The home services in Østre Toten are organized in four departments with a common night service, and are located in modern premises at Labo. The services include home nursing care, practical assistance, mental health and rest services, security alarms and follow-up of patients of all ages.

We work with prevention, early intervention and comprehensive patient flow in collaboration with GPs, the short-term department and the allocation unit.

The home service has a strong professional environment and invests in welfare technology and user participation - with the motto: "Life is best lived at home."

The position currently belongs to the night watch service department.

Facts about the positions:

The night watch department serves residents and service recipients at night at all the departments inside Labo, as well as out in the home service. The wards inside Labo consist of two dementia wards, a somatic long-term ward and a short-term ward with KAD function. The home care service consists of three wards that are serviced together at night. As a nurse in the night shift department, you will primarily work outside in the home service or inside the short-term / KAD department, but you must be able to assist the other departments with nursing expertise when needed.

In the night shift department, you will be able to meet very different patient groups and care needs, and your working day will therefore be both varied and professionally stimulating.
