We are currently seeking an HR Specialist to be based in Älvsbyn or Umeå. The HR department is responsible for overall HR processes and drives HR initiatives forward in close collaboration with our managers. Together, we work to ensure that Polarbröd remains a workplace with a high level of job satisfaction. Our approach is consultative, and your role will be to support and guide managers on both operational and strategic HR issues. With us, you’ll be part of a small, close-knit HR team with a shared responsibility for delivering high-quality, business-oriented HR support.
You’ll work on a wide range of HR issues, from large to small, primarily in the areas of rehabilitation and accommodation, labor law, and compensation. The role encompasses all aspects of HR, which means you’ll also work with workplace safety, recruitment, change management, and our employer brand.
In this role, you’ll be expected to switch between providing advice on individual cases, follow-up and planning, collaborating with various parties—such as occupational health services and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency—and engaging in development work.
We are looking for someone with a college degree in HR and several years of experience in specialized HR work, providing close support to management and operations. We’d like you to be organized and dedicated, as well as someone who enjoys taking on responsibility. You enjoy working in a team and across functions within the organization, but also thrive when working independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to successfully fulfill this role. With us, you’ll be trusted to contribute, grow, and help shape our HR work.
You have a solution-oriented approach and are interested in developing managers and employees through close dialogue. If you also love bread in all its forms, you’re sure to thrive with us.
The HR function is organized within the parent company, Polarbrödsgruppen. Travel between our locations is part of the job.
