We are looking for you who is a licensed nurse with good knowledge of Swedish and English. It is advantageous if you have contact nurse training and previous experience in surgical operations and reception work. Additional language skills are meritorious. We place great importance on personal characteristics. To thrive in this role, you are self-motivated, flexible and have good collaboration skills. As a person, you are calm, attentive and accommodating in your treatment. You are structured and have an interest, desire and ability to help others.

You get to work with this
The surgeon's office at Sunderby Hospital belongs to Division Länssjukvård 2 and area of ​​operation general surgery/urology. The clinic functions as a county clinic for Norrbotten. Together with another nurse, you will work in a team with plastic surgeons and a thyroid surgeon, with responsibility for patients with skin cancer and thyroid cancer as well as benign surgery in the area.

As a contact nurse, you have a central role that includes both practical and administrative work. Current duties are:

  • Planning and booking of visits and minor operations.
  • Be a contact nurse for patients with skin cancer or thyroid cancer.
  • Telephone counseling.
  • Own reception. See patients pre- and post-operatively.
  • Assist in minor operations at the reception.
  • Develop and organize the contact nurse's work.
