Palliative care is the care given when cure is no longer possible. The palliative patients are often bothered by complex symptoms and need specialized palliative care, where we strive to provide optimal care and support.

We are looking for you who is a registered nurse, preferably with previous experience in hematology and palliative care.
We place great importance on personal characteristics. We are looking for someone who is good at working independently and flexibly but also appreciates collaboration with others. You have good pedagogical insight and understand how people absorb knowledge and are good at structuring and organizing your work.

The hematology unit at Sunderby Hospital has a county mission with a focus on the investigation and treatment of both hematological deficiency diseases as well as advanced treatment of malignant blood diseases and aftercare after stem cell transplantation.
We work in teams with doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, counselors, hospital dental care, the hospital church and a palliative counseling team.
As a developmental nurse, you are a nurse and the position includes both departmental work and administrative time. You work, among other things, with creating and maintaining routines, improvement work as well as inventorying and carrying out internal training for the department as well as participating in the joint development work within the business
