We are looking for You who have academic education connected to the environment and sustainability, alternatively experience of working with environmental issues, or other education/experience that we deem equivalent. You hold a B driving license and have good knowledge of the Office package. We see it as meritorious if you have previously worked with environmental issues in healthcare. We put great emphasis on your personal characteristics. As a person, you are driven, communicative, self-motivated and at the same time find it easy to collaborate with others. You take initiative and work systematically and structured and have an ability to prioritize and work flexibly. Furthermore, you have a holistic view of your work, are analytical and have a good ability to drive processes forward to completion. The work involves collaboration with elected officials, colleagues internally and with external actors, You get to work with this As an environmental coordinator, you work to coordinate and support internal operations in environmental, sustainability and waste matters. - You ensure that implementation and follow-up within relevant legislation is carried out and coordinate the environmental work so that they follow internal routines and guidelines. - You coordinate the region's environmental representative and organize ongoing environmental representative meetings as well as information/training sessions. - You manage environmental newsletters, update internal information and offer telephone and email support to environmental representatives in environmental matters. - You monitor the world around you and deliver data in investigations and decision-making documents. As an environmental coordinator, you are placed in the unit for sustainability which is part of the regional staff department. The regional staff department is a central function that provides support to the regional director, the operations and to the region's elected politicians within established work areas. We have committed and competent employees who work together strategically, operationally and proactively with overall issues for Region Norrbotten. In addition to sustainability, the regional staff has region-wide responsibility for law, archives, document management, main registry, political administration, case preparation, preparedness and security. The sustainability unit is a newly formed unit and here we work with issues within the environment, chemicals, sustainable procurement and human rights - with a particular focus on, among other things, children's rights, gender equality, intimate partner violence, public health, ethics, national minorities and cooperation with civil society. Sustainability issues span the entire region's mission. The unit works mainly internally in the organization but also in collaboration with external actors.
