The position is located in the IT/MT department, which is the strategic/tactical function for IT and medical technology in Region Norrbotten. The department is responsible for strategic planning, governance and management within the area and works with business development issues, which includes architecture, project management, information security, ownership and management of MT products as well as national and regional assignments.

We are looking for
You have an academic degree in IT or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have worked as an IT architect for at least 2 years, broad technical competence in various IT areas. You speak fluent Swedish and English. Good communicative and pedagogical skills. Experience in leading and running technical projects and initiatives within complex organizations as well as experience in developing design, policy and guidelines.

Certifications in IT architecture, for example IASA, are meritorious. Worked as an IT architect for 5 years or more, B driver's license, good understanding of laws, rules and requirements in public administration, such as GDPR and security classification. Experience of working in healthcare, experience of system management models such as PM3, experience of working in close collaboration with the business as well as experience of working with larger IT environments, for example region, municipality or equivalent size of company.

Great importance is placed on personal qualities. As a person, you are strategic, clear and see the big picture and take the larger perspective into account.

Design and implement IT architecture strategies and guidelines to support our business needs and goals. Management of architectural discussions and decisions to ensure compliance and collaboration across various technical areas. Evaluate and recommend technical solutions and platforms to meet business requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define and drive technical initiatives and projects.
