We are looking for
You must be a licensed occupational therapist. Experience of working with children and young people with disabilities as well as experience of work within habilitation is desirable, but not a requirement. You are offered an introduction and there are good opportunities for collegial supervision. Cooperation, flexibility and a good attitude are a matter of course for us, great importance is therefore placed on personal suitability. The service is combined with travel within the county, which is why a B driver's license is a requirement.
You get to work with this
As an occupational therapist, you are one of 3 occupational therapists in the habilitation team. You and your colleagues are part of a cross-professional team that works with children and young people who have a permanent disability aged 0-18. All staff work for the child's participation in their habilitation and all interventions are planned together with the child and his parents and take place both in groups and individually. We work both independently and in teams. Among other things, your tasks will consist of:
* Map activity skills and teach strategies to facilitate everyday life.
* Assess the need for, prescribe, try out, adjust and follow up on individually adapted aids.
* Provide information, guidance and consultation to patients, relatives and staff.
* Collaborate with other actors around the child/youth and its network.

Information about the service
We offer a pregnancy temporary position until 31/1 2025 starting in April 2024 or by agreement. The position is full-time, working hours 08:00 - 16:30. Selection and interviews take place continuously and the position can be filled before the application deadline. The position is within children's healthcare: We apply a register check before a decision on employment in accordance with the provisions of the Act (2013:852) on the register check of persons who must work with children
