The work at the day surgeon/emergency department is varied work. Together with other colleagues, patients are planned and prepared for surgery and to take care of them afterwards.

We are looking for
We are looking for you who is a registered nurse and who has good knowledge of Swedish. It is advantageous if you have further training in An/Op/Iva, knowledge of the VAS record system and the operation planning program Provisio. It is also advantageous to have experience from work as a nurse in a similar activity.

We place great importance on personal characteristics. You are flexible, have good cooperation skills and independence which means you have the courage to act according to your own convictions. You are also structured and you plan, organize and prioritize work effectively.

You get to work with this
You are an important part of the team and the flow around the patient. The work includes preparation before and post-operative care of the patients who undergo day surgery operations. Together, we take responsibility for providing the patient with the best care. In order for the patient to receive the best care, storage work, medication and device handling are also included.

The day surgeon in Gällivare is part of the county clinic An/Op/Iva. We conduct surgery at the hospitals in Gällivare, Kalix and Sunderbyn with pre-, peri- and post-operative care. The three areas that are prioritized within An/Op/Iva are stable staffing with high competence, high availability with efficient flows and a high safety culture.

Information about the service
Full-time permanent employment with daytime working hours. Selection and interviews take place continuously and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
