Are you a nurse and want to develop in your professional role? Welcome to us at ward 41, the Stroke Unit and Neurorehab, which belongs to the Neurocentrum at Sunderby Hospital. The care department has beds for inpatient neurological care and rehabilitation and is located in accessible premises on floor 4. Adjacent to the department is the Stroke Rehabilitation Team (SHR), the Stroke Clinic, the Baklofen Clinic and the Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic. We are looking for You are a nurse, have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team. You can be a recent graduate or experienced, the most important thing is an interest in working with stroke and other neurological diseases/injuries. Are you a recent graduate? You get to work with this Department 41 consists of two teams, the Stroke Unit and Neurorehab. The nurses with us protect the patients' safety and perform the basic care with a focus on rehabilitation. At both the Stroke Unit and Neurorehab, we work in multi-professional teams that include nurses, nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, counsellors, speech therapists and rehabilitation instructors. We are committed teams that work with a focus on person-centered care and implement a rehabilitative approach in everyday life. We have good cohesion and an open climate in the department. On the stroke unit, you care for the patient through the entire care chain, through the acute phase and further into rehabilitation. The work in the department is based on clear routines that are based on the National Board of Health and Welfare's National guidelines for stroke care. The stroke unit is part of the alarm chain called Rädda Hjärnan, which means that the department accepts patients for clot-dissolving treatment (thrombolysis). Neurorehab has Norrbotten's highest rehabilitation level and is quality certified according to Carf. Here, patients with, among other things, stroke, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury are cared for and rehabilitated.
