Welcome to us in department 63! We work in teams with different professions. We lay the foundation for good competence and good cooperation through a well-organized training of our new colleagues. We have training and lectures in the various specialties and have daily reflections. The department is in an interesting start-up mode where you can contribute with your experience and your commitment.

We are looking for
We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse with a course in emergency care, or with experience that the employer deems equivalent. We place great importance on personal characteristics. As a person, you are flexible and easily adapt to changing circumstances. You are service-oriented by being calm and accommodating in your treatment. Furthermore, we see that you have an empathic ability and have the ability to put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation.

You get to work with this
Department 63 is currently a joint care department for two clinics (Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine). The department has 12 care places with the specialties Hematologist and Palliative care. As a nurse in ward 63, you work with basic care for three highly specialized patient groups with varying needs for care and nursing. You have a supporting function in promoting the quality of life for both patients and relatives

The hematology unit at Sunderby Hospital has a county mission with a focus on the investigation and treatment of both hematological deficiency diseases as well as advanced treatment of malignant blood diseases, as well as care after stem cell transplantation.
Palliative care is the care given when cure is no longer possible. The palliative patients are often bothered by complex symptoms and need specialized palliative care, where we strive to provide optimal care and support.
We work in teams with doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dieticians, counsellors, hospital dental care, the hospital church and a palliative counseling team.

A temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment.
The temporary position is assigned to Day, evening and weekend work, the employment rate is full-time or according to agreement.
