We are looking for
We are looking for you who are assistant nurses with good knowledge of the Swedish language. It is advantageous if you have completed the course in emergency care (200 points) or, according to the new curriculum, health care 1 and 2, and if you have experience in surgical nursing or emergency care. We put great emphasis on your personal characteristics. As a person, you are stable and controlled in stressful situations. You value and see the benefit of collaboration with others and put the patient in focus. You are responsible, committed and have good cooperation skills that come out by creating a positive working climate together with your colleagues

You get to work with this
As a nurse with us, you will work with providing personal care to the patient, documenting vital parameters and, among other things, performing vein sampling, KAD placement and handling wound dressings, stoma care drain management and advanced dressings. You get varied and developing work where you both work independently and as part of the care team. You participate in the nursing work around all our patients.

In our department, we are supportive as colleagues and always want to provide the best care to all our patients.

Department 52 takes care of patients in lower gastro and vascular surgery plus emergency patients. Here, patients are operated on for, among other things, abdominal aortic aneurysms and colorectal cancer. We work according to ERAS. Patients are also observed after various interventions. There are also emergency surgical patients, for example abdominal pain, bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract, concussions and emergency care after, for example, accidents. We accept emergency patients at all hours of the day but also planned surgery. We work with person-centred care, interprofessional collaborations and evidence-based care.

Information about the service
We offer you permanent full-time employment. Working hours day/evening/weekend. Access by agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual wage setting according to collective agreements.
