We are looking for
We are now looking for a nurse for Arvidsjaur health centre. You have good computer skills and are fluent in spoken and written Swedish. It is advantageous if you have previously worked in a care department or health center or alternatively have experience of working in an emergency reception.

We place great importance on personal characteristics. You are self-motivated, initiative-taking and structured. Merit is if you have a holistic view in your professional practice, are service-oriented and have a problem-solving approach. The team in the department consists of several competencies that all work together and have the patient at the center.

You get to work with this
Arvidsjaur's health center is a rural health center with a doctor's office, district nurse's office, maternity care, child health care, foot care, X-ray, laboratory, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and counsellor. In addition to this, we also have operations around the clock with an emergency reception, an ambulance and a care department with general medical care places. The department has six places, one of which is a palliative place. In the department, we value the work with palliative care highly and we constantly work on improvement and development so that we can give patients with a palliative diagnosis the best possible care. Other than that, we include medical patients, infections, diabetes settings, pain patients, rehab patients and more.

As an employee, you may follow the patient from the time they arrive by themselves or by ambulance to reception and examination, until admission to the ward. As a nurse on the ward, you are part of the team at the health centre. Your primary task is working with inpatients in teams with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and doctors. You coordinate the care before the patient goes home and work closely with the municipality in this. You also help with other work at the health center and receive emergency patients at our emergency department, which is open around the clock.

Information about the service
The position is a full-time permanent position and the working hours are rotating day/evening/night. We apply flexible scheduling, which allows you to be involved and influence your working hours. Region Norrbotten applies individual wage setting according to collective agreements.
