Psychologist for Business Area Sunderbyn

Do you want to help shape modern psychiatry in Norrbotten? Are you interested in working with organizational and treatment development? Then we have the role for you now that we are looking for a psychologist for Verksamhetsområde Sunderbyn with placement in community psychiatry.

The Sunderbyn business area has approximately 250 employees and provides care in emergency, inpatient and outpatient care. The position will mainly be located under Community Psychiatry in Luleå with good opportunities for remote work if desired.

Community psychiatry is a general psychiatric clinic with the task of meeting patients' needs for specialist psychiatric assessment and treatment efforts. We work with knowledge management, national care and intervention programs. The reception consists of around 60 employees with various professional skills such as nurses, doctors, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, counselors, medical secretaries and psychologists.

Region Norrbottens uses the PLA as an additional assignment and organizationally the function belongs to the current business area, thus the PLA belongs to the management structure both at the business level and at the unit level.

You will work with everything from investigation to treatment, during investigations you have close cooperation with occupational therapists, doctors and other staff who are part of the assessment and investigation team. As a psychologist with us, you are also part of one or more of our teams and you will work both individually with patients and in group treatment.

We are looking for
For the role, we see that you have the following qualifications:
- Licensed Psychologist
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Experience of work in psychiatry

As a person, you are confident in your role as a psychologist and have a good overall view as you act in a well-thought-out way that benefits psychiatry's activities. You are calm and stable in stressful situations and easily adapt to changing circumstances. You can easily shift perspectives in your work and see the work from the patient, employee and organizational perspective. Furthermore, you take responsibility for your task, you structure your work and ensure that your projects are completed. As you will have close cooperation with different professional categories and care neighbors, it is important that you possess good cooperation skills.

Working as a psychologist in psychiatric outpatient care is a very varied and rewarding job. The core of our business is the meeting with the patient.
Your main duties are to work with assessment, investigation and treatment of psychiatric problems. We work with various psychological treatments such as CBT, DBT, RO-DBT, PE, also group treatments regarding ADHD, Bipolarity and Autism. Competence enhancement is possible both via internal and external supervision and there is also the possibility of further training. Psychoeducational efforts towards the patient and his relatives also occur, as well as contact with the municipality, the Social Insurance Fund and the Employment Service. We also offer patients to meet digitally.

Information about the service
Placement in Luleå, but we have collaboration within the Division of Psychiatry and this means that there is the possibility to work in other locations and across clinic boundaries if necessary
