Björkskatan's health center is one of Luleå's largest health centers with approximately 12,500 registered citizens. We have an exciting and varied catchment area with urban population, rural areas and students who attend Luleå University of Technology (LTU). Our operations include a doctor's and nurse's office, laboratory, maternal and child health care, physiotherapy and occupational therapy and a psychosocial team. We are part of care selection Norrbotten. We are around 40 employees who work together in close collaboration to develop our working methods for the benefit of our patients and to create a good working environment.

What is new and exciting is that the new medical education, which now lasts six years, includes placement at KUM (Clinical Education Reception). We are starting up and KUM will be in premises at Björkskatan under its own management but connected to Björkskatan's Health Center's catchment area.

We are looking for
We are looking for you who is a specialist doctor in general medicine and has good knowledge of the Swedish language both spoken and written corresponding to C1 level as well as knowledge of English. It is advantageous if you have experience in the profession.

We place great importance on personal characteristics. As a person, you take responsibility in working with patients and in cooperation with colleagues. It is important that you as a doctor have structure in your daily work, a sense of service and a holistic view for the good of the business.

You get to work with this
Your tasks are reception work, work with the municipality's home health care as well as the municipality's care and care homes, work with maternal and child health care. We work with digital visits as well as physical visits. The health center is based on the patients' needs and works for a pleasant working environment with varied and stimulating tasks. The work is independent but with a team that works together. Scheduled time for joint meetings and internal training.

Information about the service
The position is a permanent, full-time position. The working hours are shifted to daytime with on-call/emergency duty in the evenings/weekends at Jourcentralen in Luleå. Selection and interviews take place continuously and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Region Norrbotten applies individual wage setting according to collective agreements.
