Come and be part of our team at the sterile center! We are part of the surgery department at Piteå Hospital. We take care of sterile goods from our operating department but also from other departments and receptions at Piteå Hospital as well as from the health centers within the Piteå river valley.
We are looking for
We are looking for someone who is a trained sterile technician or a trained assistant nurse. Previous experience of working in a sterile center is advantageous.
We place great importance on personal characteristics. We are looking for you who can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. In order to ensure that all instruments are correctly assembled and checked, it is important that you as a person are thorough, you have an important function for our operations. We also see that you have an interest in technology as the assignment largely involves work with medical equipment.
Furthermore, we also see that you are flexible and can adapt based on the needs of the business as we periodically have work peaks. The work is physically demanding with heavy lifting, which requires a good physique. In order to thrive with us, we see it as important that you like teamwork and are motivated by having a close collaboration with your colleagues in the daily work and having good communication.

Welcome to us at the Sterilcentralen! With us, you get to work with sterilizing our surgical instruments, you are responsible for our instruments from unclean to sterile.
It is technical work that requires accuracy, you will gain an understanding of how our instruments work and the importance of sterility. Work in the operating theater may occur if the business needs this.

Full-time temporary position, 12 months with possibility of extension. Access by agreement.
