The healthcare safety unit has a coordinating role for the region's patient safety work. Through our expert areas of patient safety, pharmaceuticals, health care hygiene, infection control and radiation safety, we work to develop and follow up the systematic patient safety work. We are organizationally placed in the Health and Medical Services department in the Regional Director's staff. We support the organization to reach its goals and our vision is zero healthcare injuries.

We are looking for
You have relevant college/university education in the healthcare field. Merit is if you have experience of development work in a politically controlled organization and are used to working in Microsoft 365. Great importance is placed on personal qualities. As a person, you have a supportive approach, are self-motivated and motivated by developing people. You have pedagogical skills and an understanding of how people absorb knowledge and people's different conditions. Travel is involved in the job so a driver's license is a requirement.

You get to work with this
As a strategist and team leader for patient safety, you are responsible for leading and organizing the team consisting of administrators, development managers and chief physicians with lex Maria responsibility. You are there and support the employees in the daily work, keep the team motivated, promote cooperation and, if necessary, prioritize in the daily work.

As the region's expert in patient safety, you drive and lead development and support operations in the area of ​​patient safety. You work to implement and develop tools, methods and working methods to improve patient safety in the region's healthcare and dental care. You report to the unit manager and you collaborate with quality managers, operational management and other actors to achieve the goals in the area of ​​patient safety. It also includes cooperation with relevant authorities and participation in local and regional networks. You prepare documents for investigations, referrals and board matters in the area of ​​patient safety and are mainly responsible for compiling the annual patient safety report.

We offer you permanent full-time employment, daytime Monday - Friday. Region Norrbotten applies individual wage setting according to collective agreements.
