The Home Care Service in Ringsaker is responsible for providing home-based health and care services to the residents of Ringsaker. The position being advertised is currently part of Zone 1, based in Brumunddal.

We are hiring:

Two nurses in full-time (100%) permanent positions in the Home Care Services Unit, Zone 1.

Two nurses in full-time (100%) temporary positions, for up to 12 months.

We’re looking for a colleague who is dedicated, loyal, flexible, and adaptable. You must be highly independent and able to handle a varied and at times unpredictable workday, a fast pace, and sudden changes. We expect you to be a positive and active contributor to our work environment. The unit is currently in the process of consolidating several departments within home care services, and we are therefore looking for a nurse who, in addition to other responsibilities, is also interested in actively contributing to this effort and helping to further develop the service. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Home nursing care tailored to the individual’s needs
  • Performing various specialized nursing procedures
  • Medication management
  • Assessment and clinical evaluation of patients
  • Follow-up of safety alarms and emergency medical assessments for patients experiencing changes in their clinical condition
  • Close dialogue and interdisciplinary collaboration internally and with other care providers
  • Documentation and maintenance of patient records
  • Primary/secondary responsibility for individual patients
  • Defined areas of responsibility within the department/unit based on needs, expertise, and areas of interest
  • Mentoring and in-house training of colleagues, nursing students, and new employees
  • Participation in collaboration and treatment meetings

Qualifications:

  • Norwegian nursing license
  • Completed continuing education in wound care or currently enrolled in such a program is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Experience in home-based care is desirable; alternatively, other relevant experience as a nurse
  • Experience with change processes and reorganization is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Experience with younger patients and patients with complex needs, including substance abuse and/or mental illness, is a plus but not a requirement
  • Class B driver’s license

Salary/terms:

Annual salary for a full-time position: Registered Nurse: 570,400 – 664,900*; Registered Nurse Specialist: 611,400 – 698,200* (* The annual salary includes a local recruitment bonus of NOK 25,000.)

Day/evening shifts, currently including work every third weekend.
