We are seeking a dedicated physician for a full-time (100%) permanent position. The position is affiliated with the Municipal Medical Center, with work locations at Brumunddal Nursing Home and Nes Nursing Home/FSE. Brumunddal Nursing Home has 95 beds and 1.2 full-time equivalent physician positions. The position also includes providing medical care at Nes Nursing Home, which has 10 short-term care beds, and the FSE (Enhanced Protected Unit), which has 12 long-term care beds. We are committed to patient-centered care and individualized treatment plans, using the question “What is important to you?” as a key starting point. Here, you’ll meet patients with complex medical needs and have the opportunity to follow them over time in close collaboration with skilled colleagues.

What We Offer

As a nursing home physician, you will work with a wide range of medical issues in geriatrics, palliative care, dementia, medication reviews, and complex chronic diseases. You will participate in professional development, quality improvement initiatives, and in-house training, and we facilitate opportunities for skill enhancement and specialization. This position may count toward up to two years of residency training in general practice.
