We have a vacant 100% position as a doctor at Kommunalmedisinsk senter Ringsaker (KMS) located at Tømmerli in Brumunddal, and we are looking for a committed doctor who wants to contribute to further developing our services.

There are a total of 3.2 full-time equivalent doctors affiliated with the unit in addition to a rotation candidate one day per week.

Kommunalmedisinsk senter Ringsaker (KMS) is responsible for providing health and care services to all residents of Ringsaker municipality. The unit provides treatment before, instead of and after hospital stays. The unit has 60 beds offering acute inpatient care, rehabilitation, palliative care and short-term places. In addition, KMS has a department that offers learning and coping training consisting of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, wellness center, aids and cancer coordinator.

The unit is a competence resource that offers guidance and training to the other nursing and care units, as well as working closely with the specialist health service and doctors / emergency services. KMS is committed to developing safe services with high professional quality, and ensuring the right services at the right time. Our interdisciplinary approach consisting of doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses and health professionals focuses on promoting quality of life and mastery of one's own life for our patients through a holistic approach, knowledge-based practice and person-centered care. We focus on user participation with the basic idea "what is important to you", and the patients' goals become our common goals for their stay. Our services are constantly evolving in line with the increasing complexity of the patient's health status and treatment needs

Tasks:

There is a separate job description for the position, as well as a municipal plan for the medical service. You are expected to participate in internal training and medical development of the department you work at.

Qualifications/Personal qualities:

• Norwegian authorization as a doctor
• It is desirable that the person hired is a specialist in general medicine, internal medicine, physical medicine or other relevant specialty
• Good written and oral presentation skills
• Good interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Interest in the field

Personal suitability is emphasized.

Applicants who are not specialists in general medicine will be approved for up to 2 years of service in the specialty of general medicine.
