The Institutional Services Unit is responsible for nursing home beds in Ringsaker Municipality. The nursing homes are located in Brumunddal, Brøttum, Moelv, and on Nes/Helgøya. The nursing home wards are divided into groups, each with its own kitchen and common room. The allocation of nursing home beds is handled by the Service Allocation and Coordination Unit.
We are seeking a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse:
100 % permanent position on a rotating shift schedule with day and evening shifts, as well as work every third weekend.
The position is currently at Brumunddal Nursing Home, Ward 3
As a nurse, you will be part of a “nursing team” at Brumunddal Nursing Home. The nursing team has overall responsibility for the entire nursing home. This means that on certain days of the rotation, you will work across departments and share overall professional medical responsibility with other nurses. Training and guidance are provided regarding procedures and routines to ensure that everyone feels confident in their role within the team. The nursing team also works closely with professional development nurses to refine routines, procedures, and professional development through meetings held both within the departments and jointly across each nursing home.
Ringsaker Municipality invests resources in recruitment through education. For you, this means you’ll have the opportunity to help shape future colleagues by serving as a mentor.
