The Ringsaker Home Care Service is responsible for providing home-based health and care services to the residents of Ringsaker. The position being advertised is currently part of Zone 2, based in Brumunddal. The Home Care Service focuses on providing patients with high-quality services and facilitating holistic care throughout all stages of life. We are hiring at the Home Care Services Unit, Zone 2: a nurse for a full-time (100%) permanent position.

We are looking for a colleague who is committed, loyal, flexible, and adaptable. You must be self-reliant and able to handle a varied and at times unpredictable workday, a fast pace, and sudden changes. We expect you to be a positive and active contributor to our work environment. The unit is currently in the process of consolidating several departments within home care services, and we are therefore looking for a nurse who, in addition to other responsibilities, is also interested in actively contributing to this effort and helping to further develop the service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Home nursing care tailored to individual needs
• Performing various specialized nursing procedures
• Medication management
• Assessment and clinical evaluation of patients
• Responding to safety alarms and conducting emergency medical assessments for patients experiencing changes in their clinical condition
• Close dialogue and interdisciplinary collaboration internally and with other care providers
• Documentation and maintenance of patient records
• Primary/secondary responsibility for individual patients
• Defined areas of responsibility within the department/unit based on needs, expertise, and areas of interest
• Mentoring and in-house training of colleagues, nursing students, and new employees
• Participation in collaboration and treatment meetings

Qualifications:

• Norwegian nursing license
• Experience in home-based care is desirable but not required
• Further education or specialization is desirable but not required
• Class B driver’s license

Annual salary for a full-time position: Registered Nurse, official job code 7174: From NOK 570,400 to NOK 664,900. (* The annual salary includes a local recruitment bonus of NOK 25,000.)

Day/evening shifts, currently including work every third weekend.
