Andre Hjemmetjenester provides home-based health and care services to users under the age of 67. Our users have complex medical and/or psychological challenges. Some users have also been exposed to major accidents. The services are provided in the form of one-to-one staffing in a 24-hour arrangement, which allows for close follow-up, high professionalism and relationship building over time.

Other Home Services is a separate department under Home Services. We are committed to enabling our users to live their lives the way they want and need to, with a focus on coping, self-determination and quality of life. Our vision is to be "Norway's best home care service", and we achieve this by focusing on quality, comprehensive care - and not least our employees.

We are looking for a safe, independent and responsible health professional for a permanent 75.13% position in our department.

  • Oppstart: Immediately
  • Place of work: User's home in Moelv
  • Turnus: Day and evening shifts
  • Weekends: Working weekend every 3rd weekend
  • Night: User has own night shifts

Important to note:
This is a lone worker position. On most days, you will be the only healthcare professional on duty and must be comfortable working independently, making professional judgments and handling situations on your own within given frameworks and procedures. However, there are days in the rotation when there is more than one person on duty. You have the opportunity to use these days for professional work.

Tasks:

  • Help the user to live an independent and dignified life, adapted to his or her own wishes and needs
  • Provide health care in the home, including:
    • Personal hygiene and daily care
    • Medical follow-up related to the user's condition
  • Administration of medication and tube feeding (PEG)
  • Practical assistance in the home, such as cleaning and tidiness
  • Facilitate activity and participation, such as trips and cultural events
  • Documentation in the medical record system
  • Ensure professionally sound services at all times
  • Be a good role model and contributor to a safe and positive working environment


Qualifications:

  • Authorized health professional
  • Experience with and knowledge of medication management
  • Good Norwegian language skills, spoken and written
  • Digital skills - experience with Profile is an advantage
  • Driver's license class B (manual gear)

Annual salary in a 100% position: Health professional, official job code 7077: From NOK 452,500 to NOK 528,300
