A 55% position as dance educator is available from 01.08.2026. Kulturskolen has an active dance department with 110 students divided into hip hop, children's dance, classical ballet, toe tip immersion and jazz / modern. Kulturskolen has departments in music, theater, dance and visual arts with 23 employees divided into 12.84 man-years.

Tasks:

The work will primarily include teaching dance groups aged 7 years - 19 years in classical ballet, children's dance and jazz / modern.

• The Cultural School's framework plan is the basis for the teaching.
• Collaboration with colleagues on professional development in the cultural school.
• Planning and implementation of performances and active participation in interdisciplinary projects.

Fixed working hours include fixed meeting times, which are scheduled for Tuesdays from 11:30 - 13:30. The person hired must work actively with the recruitment of students

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of professionally relevant college education or equivalent prior learning is required.
• Previous teaching experience and practice will be emphasized.
• Comfortable with the use of digital tools such as Speedadmin and Teams.

Personal qualities:

• Positive and committed with good role understanding.
• Creative and flexible with good collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and structured.

The position is salaried as a music and culture school teacher, st.code 6814, and is paid in accordance with the current collective agreement, depending on qualifications, practice and seniority.
