The institutional services unit is responsible for nursing home places in Ringsaker municipality. The nursing homes are located in Brumunddal, Brøttum, Moelv and Nes/Helgøya. The nursing home wards are divided into groups with their own post kitchens and living rooms. The allocation of nursing home places is handled by a separate unit for service allocation and coordination.

We are a specialist department within Institutional Services with 8 long-term places that emphasize environmental therapy, person-centered care and therapeutic conflict management. We provide services to people with a complex disease picture, where the goal is to give the patient a safe, predictable and individually adapted offer with a focus on coping and a meaningful everyday life. The position has long shifts every 4th weekend.
The position is currently located at Nes nursing home, dept. Helgøya

• Perform nursing in line with applicable laws, regulations and professional guidelines
• Contribute to professional development. innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Collaborate closely with the doctor and other health professionals
• Supervise, teach and collaborate with patients, relatives, colleagues and students
• Maintain the role of subject manager and ensure comprehensive follow-up
• Document professional observations and measures in the professional system Profile

Qualifications:

• Norwegian authorization as a nurse is required
• Good oral and written Norwegian presentation skills
• Good ICT skills
