We are looking for committed and competent employees who want to contribute to a comprehensive and good development of the Ringsaker community. There is a high level of activity and many exciting planning tasks in the municipality. We are currently working actively to facilitate urban development, industrial and commercial areas, as well as transportation measures, including planning the new Mjøssy Hospital in Moelv and the E6 crossing over Lake Mjøsa. There is also a great deal of planning activity in Ringsakerfjellet and related to Mjøsa and other waterways.

The position is located in the municipal director's planning section, which is responsible for land use planning under the Planning and Building Act and environmental protection. The planning section is a broad professional team of eight employees. The workplace will be the municipal building in Brumunddal.

Work tasks:

  • Work with municipal planning tasks; own plan proposals, investigations, analyses, and various project work
  • Processing of private plan proposals
  • Dialogue and guidance of residents, private planning consultants, developers and implementation of participation processes
  • Give professional advice in building case processing
  • The work tasks may vary somewhat depending on the competence and interest of the person hired

Qualifications:

  • Education as a civil architect, landscape architect or urban and regional planner or other area planning education at university or college level
  • Relevant work experience can compensate somewhat for the educational requirement
  • Relevant work experience from municipal planning case processing, preparation of zoning plans, landscape planning or similar is an advantage, but graduates are also encouraged to apply
