We are looking for reserve firefighters in a 2.07% position, affiliated with Mesnali fire station. Reserve personnel are included in the duty roster as needed, primarily as deputies in the event of absence due to illness or other reasons. Fire preparedness is organized so that the crews have both residence and main workplace in close proximity to the fire station. In the event of an alarm, crews are alerted via radio terminals connected to Nødnett. The distance from the fire station to the workplace and home is therefore requested in the application, as this is crucial for the assessment of the applicants. The requirement for attendance time during the day is four minutes and six minutes at night. Tasks:

• Firefighting, including smoke diving
• Rescue assignments, including emergency calls with defibrillators
• First response to water damage and acute pollution
• Tasks that are natural for the fire service to take care of

Qualifications:

• Good physical and mental fitness is required so that the necessary entrance exams are completed and passed.
• Residence and main workplace within four minutes of the relevant fire station.
• Driver's license at least for passenger cars.
• Satisfactory police certificate

The employee must commit to maintaining physical fitness so that the requirements are passed annually. It is desirable to have a class C driver's license, a certificate of competence for emergency driving, the Norwegian Fire School's online course in fire protection, as well as the Norwegian Fire School's basic course for part-time personnel. Applicants who do not have these qualifications must undertake to complete the necessary courses when this is facilitated. Course fees may, by agreement, be covered by the employer.

Salary in accordance with applicable agreements.
