Kirkenær School is located in the south of Ringsaker municipality, a short distance from Brumunddal and Hamar city centers. The school has 135 pupils and almost 30 employees, and is located in beautiful rural surroundings with outdoor areas that invite play and learning both summer and winter. Kirkenær School focuses on an inclusive learning environment that promotes security, well-being and mastery for the individual student, within the framework of the community. The school's employees are development-oriented and innovative in line with social developments.

The position is a 100% temporary position with teaching in grades 1-4 from 10.08.26- 19.06.27

Tasks:

• Much of the teaching in grades 1-4
• Use of digital technology and software that promotes motivation and mastery.
• Develop creative and collaborative students.
• Create a safe and good learning environment where each student is cared for within the community.
• Actively contribute to the development of the school's professional learning community and create a good working environment.
• Create good relationships in the collaboration between home and school.

Qualifications:

• Approved teaching qualifications, preferably with a specialization in English.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and work with children in grades 1-4
• Good interpersonal skills in meetings with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Good knowledge of school development and the curriculum.

• Good and updated digital skills for use in teaching.
• Ability and willingness to collaborate.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Personal suitability will be emphasized.
