It is the supervisor who is your immediate superior, who defines what your position should contain and what tasks you should perform at all times.

Hi! I'm an active lady in mid-life who is looking for both permanent and on-call assistants. I'm blind and I have a guide dog - I enjoy going for walks, attending events and activities, volunteering, knitting, swimming, shopping and socializing. I am looking for assistants who are available to work both day and evening hours and some weekends. I have recently moved to Ringsaker and I need assistants who are known in Ringsaker and who can assist me in getting to know my new place of residence as well as inform me about what offers and services are available in the local area.

What do I expect from you?

• Good assistance. Education is not a prerequisite
• Good Norwegian oral and written skills are required
• Driver's license class B
• You must be able to handle dogs and dog hair
• The guide dog must be able to be in the assistant's car.
• Personal suitability and chemistry will be emphasized.
• You must be punctual and reliable.
• You must be playful and solution-oriented.
• You must have a positive attitude and be able to work independently.
• Clean record and police certificate.

Work tasks:

• Assist with cooking
• Assist with companionship and visual interpretation of the surroundings
• Assist with internet, computer and mobile tasks
• Assist with keeping track of my dog outdoors
• Assist with social activities
• Assist with transportation
• Assist with home cleaning
• Assist with some planned trips/weekend outings

We offer:

Annual salary in 100% position: job title, Assistant off. stkode: 6572. From NOK 397 000,- to NOK 494 200,-.

Other:

Use of own car in the service will be compensated in accordance with the travel regulations (SGS 1001, §4).
