Hempa School and SFO are located in scenic surroundings in Brumunddal, about two kilometers from the city center. The river Brumunda flows just below the school and represents a diversity of areas that invite to various activities throughout the year. The school has around 130 students in grades 1-7 and 25 employees, and our vision is that " A learning place is a place where everyone is involved".

We are now looking for a committed child counselor who can work in both SFO and school, and who is concerned with the importance of good relationships and safe learning communities.

Hempa School and SFO has vacancies for up to 100% temporary positions for the school year 2026/2027. The percentage of the position will be determined at the start of the school year, based on need.

Tasks:

• Supervise and follow up individual students and student groups in learning, play and organized activities indoors and outdoors.
• Plan, implement and be able to lead activities at SFO.
• Contribute to the children's social and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Professional certificate as a child and youth worker or other relevant education.
• Other skills or experience can compensate for lack of professional certificate.
• Experience working with children and young people.

Personal qualities

• Good relationship skills.
• Safe and clear adult person.
• Personal suitability will be particularly emphasized.
